The Deben River
	This was the first book in the highly successful English Estuary Series. It is a nostalgic look with black and white photographs, at the highly attractive river Deben in Suffolk. Some photographs date back to the middle of the 19th century and others bring the story up to the end of the 20th century. It covers the sailing barge traffic on the Deben, with maps showing where all the barge docks were. It portrays wooden yacht building at Woodbridge and above all it brings to life the atmosphere of the river and records many of the yachts and people connected with the estuary.
